The Eco Island Vision

The Island Strategic Partnership has developed a vision for the future. The vision is for a sustainable community that thrives amidst the natural beauty that surrounds us.

The Eco Island vision, 2008 – 2020, is:

"We want the Isle of Wight to become a world renowned Eco-Island, with a thriving economy, a real sense of pride and where residents and visitors enjoy healthy lives, feel safe and are treated with respect."

The ISP will make Eco Island a reality; working together to achieve the sustainable development needed to fulfil the vision. Our future is based on ensuring social, economic and environmental sustainability.
