The Eco Island Values

The Eco Island Vision has guiding values that reflect those of Island communities and businesses. The ISP have agreed to be very clear about the values that it recognises as Island values, and is pleased to adopt them as the guiding leadership principles for Eco Island.

Our values are to demonstrate:

• A strong sense of community engagement
• A passion and enthusiasm for the Island
• A desire and willingness to improve what we do & what we have
• The uniqueness of the Island as a reason to get things done
• A positive, outward-looking approach
• A respect of others and their contribution

The ISP regard these basic statements as the shared values of the Island – “the way we do things around here”.
