The Isle of Wight Children and Young Peoples Trust is the Key Delivery Partnership responsible for leading and delivering the Inspiring Island theme of Eco Island.
The trust has a responsibility for delivering the children and young people’s plan to improve outcomes for children and young people.

The trust is comprised of representatives of all the partner organisations that have a role to play in improving outcomes for children and young people.
The trust has established a voluntary and community sector network for all those working with children, young people and families to which a Council lead officer is seconded to support. The Council has set up a Youth Council and participation group of young people drawn from a wide variety of groups involving young people and young people led.
The trust holds an executive to account for improvement in outcomes for young people. The executive has five outcome working groups based on each of the five outcomes in the Government’s “Every Child Matters” plan, which are matched to the five priorities in the children and young people’s plan. These working groups are responsible for the performance management of the delivery of the children and young people’s plan.
