The Isle of Wight Council plays an important part in delivering Eco Island, the Island’s Sustainable Community Strategy. The Council is the local body accountable for delivering Eco Island, the Island’s Sustainable Community Strategy.
Working together with key partners like the Island's PCT, Police, the Rural Community Council and the Isle of Wight College, the many services of the Council ensure that Eco Island lies at the heart their approach to the Island’s future. Partnership is at the heart of change; increasingly, partnership with local communities and organisations is being used to get Eco Island embedded in every plan and activity.
