The Island Waste Strategy

A new Interim Municipal Waste management Strategy will shortly be published covering the period April 2008 to April 2011. This new strategy will describe how the Council will sustain and improve its performance on waste prevention, recycling, collection, energy recovery and waste disposal over the next three years as it moves towards the development of a long term Municipal Waste Strategy. It will be available for posting on the internet in April and a copy will be posted here.
