The Isle of Wight Information Observatory

During 2008, the Isle of Wight Council, on behalf of the Island Strategic Partnership, is leading the development of an online and web-based information facility that we are calling our 'Information Observatory'.

This will provide access to continually updated information about a wide range of the many aspects of life that influence the Island and our futures.

While information on our Island Info webpage will continue to be available, the partners are now busy developing the many and complex workstreams that will make up the content of the Observatory.

Data protection and the assurance that information is safely stored and properly used are uppermost in the minds of those developing the Observatory.
