The Eco Island conference took place on Wednesday 26th March 2008 at Cowes Yacht Haven. 350 delegates heard from a range of inspirational and internationally-famous key note speakers on how the future of the Isle of Wight will focus on the theme of sustainability. Download the programme here.
Delegates included community and business leaders from the Island and the rest of the UK. They focused on how to engage business investment in encouraging energy efficiency and environmental awareness.
This event places the Isle of Wight on the world map, in terms of inward investment and renewable technology innovation. It will be a regular annual event, to showcase Island businesses and to publicise the progress being made on the Island’s footprint.
